Marcus Mumford is looking back at one of the more “embarrassing” moments of his career.

While chatting with Rolling Stone, Mumford, frontman of Mumford & Sons, recalled the moment he was caught yawning at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding.

Mumford and his wife Carey Mulligan were one of many stars to attend May’s royal wedding but the “Little Lion Man” singer, 31, was singled out for that viral moment.

“What was it like [being caught yawning?]” he was asked, to which he responded, “Hugely embarrassing, obviously.

“I got more text messages for that than I got for headlining Glastonbury. It was a long morning. I was convinced that there wouldn’t be many cameras on us because there are all these f**king famous people in the room. I said to my wife at one point, ‘Give me a smooch, babe.’ She goes, ‘No way, there’s cameras everywhere.’ And then, of course, they caught me yawning. Amazing wedding, though.”

But when he was asked how he was friends with the royals. Mumford remained coy.

“Privately,” he said. “That’s probably all I’ll say about that.”
