Rob Delaney shared an emotional message on Twitter Wednesday after he spent his first Christmas without his two-year-old son Henry.

Delaney’s young son died in January after a battle with brain cancer.

The 41-year-old “Catastrophe” star posted:

The star received a flood of replies to the heartbreaking post, with Mia Farrow and Andy Lassner getting in touch.

Delaney’s comments come after he shared an excerpt of something he wrote in 2017 as part of a book proposal he started crafting following his son’s diagnosis in 2016.

“My wife recently walked in on me crying and listening to recordings of him babbling, from before his diagnosis and surgery,” Delaney wrote. “I’d recorded his brothers doing Alan Partridge impressions and Henry was in the background, probably playing with the dishwasher, and just talking to himself, in fluent baby. F**king music, oh my God I want to hear him again.”

Delaney and his wife share three children, including Henry, and are expecting a fourth.
