Macaulay Culkin has a brand new middle name… Sort of.
Last month on “The Tonight Show”, the “Home Alone” star revealed that he had started a poll on his lifestyle site BunnyEars where fans could vote to determine his new, legal middle name.

“I was staring at my passport recently and stuff, and I was looking over my middle name,” Culkin told host Jimmy Fallon at the time. “And I felt like, you know, I should probably spruce up my name a little bit.”
The options for the actor’s new middle name were Shark Week, Kieran, TheMcRibIsBack, Publicity Stunt and, oddly enough, Macaulay Culkin.
The poll closed on Christmas Eve; on Christmas Day the actor revealed his brand new name: Macaulay Macaulay Culkin Culkin.
The new full name fits well with a joke the actor made on “The Tonight Show” when he first proposed it.
“So if somebody comes up to me at the airport and says, ‘Excuse me, are you Macaulay Culkin?’ I go, ‘Well, Macaulay Culkin is my middle name.’”

Fans were excited about the new moniker and wished Culkin a merry Christmas in return on Twitter, though not without a few questions.
