If you loved “A Star Is Born” then get ready for Elle Fanning in “Teen Spirit”.
Max Minghella (“The Handmaid’s Tale”) makes his directorial debut with the upcoming flick in which the 20-year-old stunner (and Minghella’s rumoured girlfriend) shows off her singing chops.
The film follows Violet (Fanning) a shy teenager who takes a risk and auditions for her town’s “Teen Spirit” singing competition.
“Teen Spirit” premiered earlier this year at the Toronto International Film Festival and earned rave reviews.
Fanning performed all of her own vocals in the film, which features songs by Robyn, Ellie Goulding, Ariana Grande, Katy Perry, Tegan & Sara, Jack Antonoff, Carly Rae Jepsen, Annie Lennox, Grimes, and Sigrid among others.
Rebecca Hall and Zlatko Buric star alongside the “Maleficent” star.
“Teen Spirit” hits big screens April 5.
