Agatha Christie’s greatest detective is coming back to television with a new face.

John Malkovich plays Hercule Poirot in Amazon’s new three-part limited series “The ABC Murders”, an adaptation of the 1936 mystery classic.
The series is set in 1933, with Poirot on the hunt for a killer calling themselves ABC, who travels across Britain by railway, murdering people and leaving behind his calling card: a copy of the ABC railway guide.

Along with Malkovich, the series stars Rupert Grint, Andrew Buchan, Anya Chalotra, Eamon Farren, Jack Farthing, Tara Fitzgerald, Shirley Henderson, Bronwyn James, Freya Mavor, and Michael Shaeffer.
“The ABC Murders” premieres on Amazon Prime Video on Feb. 1, 2019.
