Sorry, college students. Daisy Ridley doesn’t have time to go to your formal with you- She’s too busy saving the universe and learning all the Jedi tricks of the trade from Luke Skywalker.
Ridley very politely declined an offer from Davidson College student Kevin Carlock who penned an epic rap to the “Star Wars: The Force Awakens”; star, inviting her to attend his formal with him.

The video posted to YouTube in February has gained more than 28,000 views but Ridley only recently got wind of the video invite.
Carlock’s lyrics ask the 23-year-old Brit to ditch Jakku and lightsaber training and join him at his college where he promises, “Kylo Ren’s not invited, you’ve got nothing to fear.”;

The “Star Wars”; actress posted a photo to Carlock on Instagram today, turning the student down in the best way possible.
Ridley penned a note thanking him for the invite but stated she’s unable to attend since she’s, “locked in an intense staring competition with Luke Skywalker, somewhere in the middle of the galaxy, so won’t be able to make it!”;
