House of Cards actress Neve Campbell paid a visit to the women of The Talk today, and related a story proving that you don’t have to star in The Revenant to be attacked by a bear.

The attack took place early in her career, she explained, when she was only 17, while shooting a movie that involved a supposedly trained bear.

“[They told me to] dip my hand in honey, run to the boulder, stick my hand out and of course it [the bear] doesn’t stop…grabs me by my legs, starts dragging me through a forest and the whole crew is frozen… I don’t know what to do…”

That’s when host Sara Gilbert asks: “So how did they save you?”

The 42-year-old Scream actress adds that eventually the animal wrangler started throwing rocks at the bear.
