Netflix released a teaser trailer for the second season of “The Punisher” on Tuesday, and on Thursday they finally revealed the season will premiere on Jan. 18.

While the short clip doesn’t show much, it does feature Frank looking at the “full and unconditional pardon” he received at the end of the first season, only to take a lighter to it and burn it up.

Netflix also released brand new images from the upcoming season.

In the new season, Frank, played by Jon Bernthal, is on a road trip across America when he gets involved with the mysterious Amy Bendix, played by Giorgia Whigham.

“The Punisher” is one of the last Marvel shows left standing at Netflix, along with “Jessica Jones”, but many are predicting this second season might be its last.
