Before getting engaged to her boyfriend Tom Kaulitz recently, Heidi Klum stopped by “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” where she gushed about her now fiancé and the possibility of getting married in the future.
“I still believe in love and marriage, even though I’ve failed twice at it… I guess I’m not very good at it,” the “America’s Got Talent: Champions” judge tells DeGeneres. Klum has been married twice before, to stylist Ric Pipino, who she divorced in 2002, and to singer Seal, who she separated from in 2012.
DeGeneres reassures the 45-year-old supermodel, telling her that you just have to find the right person. “I found a great person, so we’ll see what happens,” Klum says of her Tokio Hotel guitarist boyfriend.
“He hung out and was Shrek for you,” the TV host adds, referring to Klum’s impressive costume from this past Halloween.
The former “Project Runway” host always goes all out for her annual Halloween party, and in 2018, she and Kaulitz stunned as Princess Fiona and Shrek.
“I always wanted to be Fiona, and I never had a Shrek,” Klum explains, “and now I had a Shrek, so I was like, ‘Will you be my Shrek?’ and he said, ‘Of course, I would love to’.”
Klum reveals that Kaulitz didn’t realize he’d have to go through nine hours of make-up and have to arrive at the party in an “onion carriage-buggy-thing.”
“He was so nice that he agreed on all these things,” Klum adds.
Elsewhere on the show, the fashion designer reveals that she reached out to Drake following her previous appearance on “Ellen” where she admitted to “ghosting” the rapper after he asked her out. Apparently, he responded with the raised-eyebrow emoji.
“Oh, he’s mad,” DeGeneres concludes.
