Congratulations are in order for Eddie Izzard after the British actor/comic completed gruelling marathon in South Africa today.
Even more impressive than his completion of the marathon, notes People, is that it was the final marathon of 27, which he ran over the course of 27 days.

Izzard put his feet to the pavement for a charitable cause — raising more than $1 million for the British charity Sports Relief — but also to honour the late Nelson Mandela, running a marathon for each of the 27 years the late South African human-rights activist turned president was imprisoned.
On completion of his final marathon, Izzard celebrated on Twitter.
