When photos and video were shared on social media, however, fans couldn’t help but notice Madonna’s butt appeared to be significantly larger than it had before, leading to speculation she had received a butt implant.
On Thursday, Madonna took to social media to respond to the rumours, neither confirming nor denying while essentially saying: So what if I did?
“Desperately Seeking No Ones Approval………………😂,” she wrote on Instagram, adding: “And Entitled to Free Agency Over My Body Like Everyone Else!! Thank you 2019 🎉🎉🎉! Its Going to Be an amazing Year!! 🔥🔥🔥!”

She concluded by adding a few applicable hashtags, including #freedom, #respect, #nofear and #nodiscrimination.
Rumours that the “Material Girl” singer had surgically enhanced her butt are nothing new, and first began after a video went viral of her and Ariana Grande twerking together during a joint performance in late 2016.
