Bethenny Frankel is deathly allergic to fish, something that was completely lost on an airline despite her calling in advance.

“The Real Housewives of New York City” almost ended up swimming with the fishes after the cabin announced they were serving bass on the flight.

Frankel, 48, shared the story Thursday on Twitter. She asked the cabin to not serve the food, but the pilot “delightfully announced” they would be turning the flight around.

“[I] called airline [multiple times] to say I have [a] fish allergy. Got on and they’re serving bass,” she wrote. “They couldn’t not [sic] serve it they said. Then they were turning around which I protested [because] it would delay people. Cabin asked to not serve it and [the] pilot made [an] announcement to [land the] plane. That was fun. #EpiLife.”

Frankel revealed last month that she almost died after being served a bowl of soup at a hotel. She was unconscious and spent two days in the intensive care unit.

Someone ludicrously suggested Frankel invest in her own private jet. “I ain’t got it like that,” she retorted. “And I want to work less not more.”

Frankel is continuing her fight against airlines after they are still serving fish on board despite her notifying the airlines of her severe allergy to the food.

In a series of Tweets, she calling out both Delta and American Airlines.

“You can’t write this,” Frankel tweeted on Wednesday. “Now another airline is serving cooked salmon for my next flight. I have contacted them multiple times to no avail. I guess I’ll have to take another poll with my cabin. Because everyone is dying to eat cooked fish on a plane.”

“Okay tweeps, please educate Delta who just told me that ‘fish allergies are not considered airborne,’” she continued. “Who has the article about the poor little boy who died of exactly that?”

Neither airline has commented as of yet.
