Madonna And Guy Ritchie Urged To End Custody Battle By U.K. Judge

It’s no secret that pop star Madonna and her English filmmaker ex-husband, Guy Ritchie, have been battling it out over who gets custody of their 15-year-old son, Rocco.

Today, the custody battle took place with a High Court judge for a final time in Britain before proceedings continue in the United States. Mr. Justice MacDonald urged the former couple to end their legal battle and to reach a settlement before it gets taken to New York, saying it would be a “great tragedy”; for their son to have to endure any more of this dispute.

“I renew, one final time, my plea for the parents to seek and to find an amicable resolution to the dispute between them,” the judge said. “Because agreement is not possible today does not mean that agreement will not be possible tomorrow.”;

He continued: “Far better for each of his parents to spend that time enjoying, in turn, the company of the mature, articulate, and reflective young man who is their son and who is a very great credit to them both.”
