Rob Schneider Defends Kevin Hart Amid Oscars Controversy, Urges People To Boycott The Awards If Comedian Doesn’t Host

Rob Schneider has defended Kevin Hart and Louis C.K. on Twitter, urging people to boycott the Oscars if Hart doesn’t host.

Schneider posted the comments after Hart appeared on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” Friday. The embattled comedian stepped down from presenting this year’s Academy Awards last month after a series of controversial tweets resurfaced online.

Schneider even mentioned Louis C.K., who was recently slammed once again for mocking the Parkland shooting survivors during a standup appearance.

Hart told DeGeneres of the controversy: “After a day full of celebrations and congratulations, I’m hit with an onslaught, on social media, of my past, coming back up again… literally the next morning. This is stuff I’ve addressed, I’ve talked about this. This isn’t new. I’ve addressed it. I’ve apologized for it.” He then asserted the uproar was an attack on his career.
