Although it originally aired back in March, a talk show segment proved to be so outrageously hilarious that it’s been reposted on YouTube for our viewing pleasure.
The clip, from BBC’s “The Graham Norton Show”, features guests Emilia Clarke (“Game of Thrones”), David Tennant (HBO’s “Camping”) and “Fleabag” star/creator Phoebe Waller-Bridge.
In the clip, Waller-Bridge shares an anecdote about a play she was in, describing one scene in which a co-star throws open a door and expresses his shock at what he sees.
To spice things up, Waller-Bridge explained, she and other members of the cast would appear behind the door — out of view of the audience — and do something unexpected to make their co-star laugh.
What started with cute stunts such as wearing funny hats, however, soon escalated as the play continued through its three-month run, with Waller-Bridge noting that she felt pressure to “up the game every night.”
By the time the final performance rolled around, she admitted “we had nothing.”
With the scene approaching and no ideas coming to mind, Waller-Bridge’s co-star offered a very rude (but very funny) suggestion, which, of course, she jumped on.
Even funnier than the NSFW story is Clarke’s reaction, which can be experienced in all its glory above.
