Nick Cannon has spent a lot of time around R. Kelly and he has a theory for why he is supposedly interested in younger women.
VladTV recently republished a clip from a 2018 interview with Cannon in which the “Wild N’ Out” spoke about Kelly.

“What R. Kelly can do in a studio is genius. I’ve watched my man manoeuvre and make a hit record in less than 15 minutes,” Cannon prefaced. “His social skills are poor. I see why that man is attracted to a younger girl.”
“They’re on the same level,” he explained. “What grown a** woman… Once you get past [the fact] this man is a great singer and performer, what’s your conversation going to be about with someone who is illiterate?

He said Kelly can’t intellectually stimulant others. “He ain’t picking up The Catcher and the Rye,” Cannon argued. “[But] I’ve seen him order off the menu at McDonald’s.”
The 2018 interview with Cannon was re-posted on Saturday at a time when sexual misconduct allegations against Kelly are at an all-time high thanks to documentaries and features like “Surviving R. Kelly”.
