Chuck Lorre isn’t ready to speak ill of his former boss, the disgraced Les Moonves.
The producer at CBS, who is behind hits like “Big Bang Theory”, took to the red carpet at Sunday’s Golden Globe Awards, but when one interviewer asked about Moonves, Lorre avoided the topic altogether.
“Les Moonves was obviously a big shocker,” a reporter from Variety began before asking Lorre, “How do you move on from that?”
He paused for a moment before replying, “That’s above my pay grade.”
“I’ve had the great opportunity for a long time,” Lorre continued. “Going back to ‘Two And A Half Men’, ‘Mike And Molly’ and ‘Mom’.”
Avoiding the topic again, he added, “They’ve been very good to me. I’m very grateful.”
Moonves, the former CEO of the network, stepped down in September after multiple allegations that he sexually abused many women surfaced.
