Taylor Swift shocked fans when she made a special appearance at Sunday’s Golden Globes.
But before Swift and future “Cats” co-star Idris Elba took the stage at the Beverly Hilton to present the Globes for Best Original Score and Best Original Song, there was a bit of a commotion off stage.
According to an audience member, E! News reporter Patrick Gomez, Swift and her team reportedly almost took out a few A-listers in the front row while getting the superstar there in time to present.
Viewers weren’t the only ones surprised by Swift’s appearance at the awards show, Elisabeth Moss, who is an outspoken fan of Swift, got to live out her fangirl dreams on the red carpet earlier in the night.
“Hey it’s Taylor,” Swift said in a video message to Moss, played to her on the carpet during her E! interview. “I just wanted to do this video as a shoutout to Elisabeth and say thank you so much for saying in an interview that you listen to my music when you’re shooting ‘Handmaid’s Tale’ because I’m a huge fan, I’m obsessed with the show.”
“Oh my God, that’s so crazy!” Moss told E! News host Ryan Seacrest after watching the video. “I can’t believe she even knows who I am! That’s amazing, thank you!”
