Saoirse Ronan Tells Ellen She Left The Golden Globes Early To Watch The Rest Of The Show In Her Pyjamas

Saoirse Ronan appeared as a presenter at the 2019 Golden Globes on Sunday night but she didn’t stay long.

On Tuesday’s “The Ellen DeGeneres Show”, the “Mary Queen of Scots” star says that after she presented the Best Actor in a Comedy award to Christian Bale she left to go eat pizza with her friends.

“I ran, and I changed, I went back to the hotel, and I got into my pyjamas,” Ronan says.

She then managed to get over to her friends’ place in time to catch the rest of the Golden Globes live on TV.

“I got the best of both worlds,” Ronan adds.

DeGeneres also asks Ronan all about her “genius” dog Fran.

“A lot of terriers, for some reason, tend to watch TV,” Ronan explains. “And Fran can recognize when an animal or a dog is on the TV. And once she’s seen them on the TV, like in a commercial, if she hears the music and she’s in another room, she’s like, ‘My ad’s on.’ And she’ll run into the living room and she’ll just watch it.”
