Spoiler Alert: If you plan on watching tonight’s episode of “The Masked Singer” uninterrupted then please turn back now. Otherwise, enjoy the ride.
The Pineapple is all out of juice on episode 2 of “The Masked Singer”.
The Pineapple performed a gruff rendition of Gloria Gaynor’s “I Will Survive” on Wednesday’s episode of the celebrity competition show and one of the judges almost correctly guessed his identity.
In his pre-taped package, the Pineapple confessed he has “gone through some dark times” and even beat a “life-threatening disease.” He washed a classic pink Mercury decked out with 4/20 decor. “Life is short so you’ve got to seize your dreams before life goes up in smoke,” he said.
Judge Ken Jeong had Matthew McConaughey in mind while Nicole Scherzinger thought it might be Adam Sandler. Jenny McCarthy had two legitimate guesses and one tongue-in-cheek proposal: Cheech Marin, Tommy Chong, or Barack Obama.
Door #2 held the correct answer for McCarthy as Chong was revealed to be the man under the Pineapple. He was also the internet’s most popular guess, along with Marin, Jack Nicholson, and Tracy Morgan.
Ultimately, none of the judges guessed correctly since McCarthy changed her final answer.
