The trailer for Jake Gyllenhaal’s new film “Velvet Buzzsaw” dropped on Thursday and it is definitely weird.

Gyllenhaal plays Morf Vandewalt, a highly critical dealer in the high stakes world of modern art.

Things start get very strange and scary, though, when paintings by an unknown artist begin coming to life and attacking people.

The film is helmed by “Nightcrawler” Director Dan Gilroy, and co-stars Rene Russo, John Malkovich, Billy Magnussen, Daveed Diggs, Zawe Ashton, Natalia Dyer and Toni Collette.

“Velvet Buzzsaw” is out on Netflix starting Feb. 1.
