Lindsay Lohan has been making the rounds promoting her new reality show “Lindsay Lohan’s Beach Club”. She followed up Wednesday’s appearance on “The Howard Stern Show” by dropping by Wednesday night’s edition of “Watch What Happens Live” with Andy Cohen.
During her chat with Cohen, the former “Freaky Friday” star, 32, shot down rumours she had a fling with “Vanderpump Rules” star Jax Taylor.
“I’ve never even met him. I never met him. Really. Maybe he met Hallie or Annie,” she quipped, referring to the twins she played in “The Parent Trap”.
The romance rumours began in 2015, when Taylor told Cohen on “Watch What Happens Live” that he and Lohan once hooked up, claiming he was one of the names on Lohan’s infamous leaked “sex list” of past boyfriends, which, she said, was produced as part of an AA step during one of her rehab stints.
“It was just once,” said Taylor, blushing. “She was great. It was a long time ago,” adding that Lohan “was just very affectionate.”
However, on Wednesday Lohan called BS on Taylor’s claim. “You’re calling Jax Taylor a liar?” Cohen asked her.
“Yes,” Lohan insisted.
Taylor, however, begged to differ, and responded with a tweet (which he later deleted) refuting LiLo’s denial, accompanied by a screenshot of a text from a friend who was at the same nightclub where the pair allegedly hooked up.
“Not that I care, it was over 10 years ago and I am happily engaged…,” tweeted Taylor (who is engaged to “Vanderpump Rules” co-star Brittany Cartwright), via the Daily Mail, “but she’s a liar. My two friends, who have nothing to gain, were with me the whole night. That’s all I will say on this. So you are lying darlin’.”
Taylor elaborated on his hookup with Lohan during a 2017 conversation with Bravo’s “Daily Dish”, revealing that he happened to bump into the actress when they were partying at the same nightclub. According to Taylor, their encounter wasn’t particularly memorable.
“It was so long ago, and it was one of those things that it was just a drunken night, and it didn’t mean anything,” he said. “It wasn’t worth my time.”
