One year removed from the suicide-forest controversy and Logan Paul has another target on his back.
Paul either loves infamy or has a peculiar knack for attracting it. The controversial YouTuber recently revealed plans to “go gay for just one month.”
The 23-year-old internet sensation and his “Impaulsive” podcast co-host Mike Majlak revealed how they were living different lifestyles each and every month.
“We’re vegan right now. Sober and vegan,” Paul said. “January is sober vegan January and then February is…”
“We’re going to go the opposite,” Majlak chimed in. “So, Day 1: steak, big bottles of Tito’s, and s**t.”
And then came the month label heard around the world.
“And then March — take a guess,” Paul said. “What is it? Male-only March. So it’s male-only March. We’re going to attempt to go gay for just one month.”
“For one month. And then swing… go back,” Majlak noted.
Whether Paul is serious or is trying his hand at comedy, members of the LGBTQ community and allies are not thrilled.
After being taken to task by the gay rights group GLAAD via Twitter, Paul responded by admitting he’d used a “very poor choice of words,” and invited a rep from the organization to “talk about it” on his podcast. No word yet as to whether that will actually happen.
