Adam Lambert has confirmed the suspicions that he had a cameo in “Bohemian Rhapsody”.
The singer tweeted a picture of himself as a trucker in the movie for his short, but significant role.
The image is captioned with “Who is he!?” and goes on to plug the “digital download available on 1/22!”
Although Lambert is not credited in the movie, he plays a critical turning point where Freddie Mercury, played by Rami Malek, suggests to his wife over the phone that he is going to hook up with the trucker.
It is the first moment in the movie that implies that Mercury experimented with his sexuality.
While Malek may play Mercury in “Bohemian Rhapsody”, Lambert told Billboard that he had the privilege to step into his hero’s shoes as frontman for Queen over six years ago.
Since he joined Queen, they have had the chance to tour and hold a Las Vegas residency.
“Bohemian Rhapsody” won for Best Picture at the Golden Globes last weekend, with Malek taking home Best Actor for his role as Mercury.
