It is a “Bachelor” wedding in Hawaii.
The reality television competition’s lovebirds Arie Luyendyk Jr. and Lauren Burnham sealed the deal in Hawaii on Saturday. The pair met on season 22 of “The Bachelor” in 2017 and are husband-and-wife just one year later.
“Ever since we’ve gotten together, we wanted to fast-forward to this day,” the groom told US Weekly. “It’s been a year. That’s kind of crazy ‘cause I remember a year ago we were doing ‘happy couples [weekend on ‘The Bachelor’]’ and talking about getting married and wanting to do that, even last year, so it’s awesome that the day is finally here.”
Luyendeyk, 37, and Burnham, 27, revealed in November they are expecting their first child.
The two currently live together in Phoenix, Arizona. There is no word on the couples’ honeymoon plans.
