Kensington Palace may not have revealed Meghan Markle’s due date as the Duchess of Sussex may have done so herself.
The 37-year-old reportedly told crowds that she was six months pregnant and expecting her first baby in April as she visited Birkenhead, England, Monday with Prince Harry, 34.
Markle was also said to have insisted she wasn’t finding out the sex of the baby because she wanted it to be a “surprise,” according to numerous royals reporters on Twitter.
Kitty Dudley, 9, from St Anne’s Primary School in Rockferry, said, according to People: “Meghan came up to me and asked me how old I was and where I went to school. I could see her bump and I asked if she was having a boy or a girl and she said, ‘We don’t know whether it’s a boy or girl, we are keeping it as a surprise.’”
Megan Redford, 7, then said of potential names: “She asked me if I was called Meg or Meghan because she said her friends call her Meg and mine do as well.
“I asked her whether she would call her baby Amy if she has a girl and she said, ‘That’s a really pretty name, I like it, we’ll have to think about it.’”
The duchess looked stunning at the engagement, wearing a C$1800 red coat by Canadian designer Sentaler.
Markle teamed it with a $170 figure-hugging purple dress from Babaton by Aritzia.
The pair will next visit Hamilton Square, Tomorrow’s Women Wirral (a group supporting vulnerable women), and youth centre The Hive, Wirral Youth Zone, in Merseyside.
