The appearance of the Beatle was always planned but had to wait until late into the film’s production to accommodate McCartney’s busy schedule.  McCartney filmed his role for an additional scene that will be added to the film in post-production.

Due in theatres in May 2017, the fifth installment of the blockbuster series from Disney once again sees Johnny Depp reprise his role as the pirate Captain Jack Sparrow. Orlando Bloom and Geoffrey Rush also return for the film to face a new villain, played by Javier Bardem.  Kaya Scodelario and Brenton Thwaites are the fresh new faces of the film, which sees Captain jack searching for the trident of Poseidon.
