Darci Lynne Farmer demonstrated her dual talents of singing and ventriloquism during the 2017 season of “America’s Got Talent”, which she ultimately won.
The 14-year-old phenom returned to the “AGT” stage for the show’s special “Champions” edition, in which performers from previous seasons and various international editions return for an epic competition.
Farmer, as she’s done in her previous performances, dazzled the judges when she and mouse puppet Oscar performed their routine — and even took a good-natured shot at judge Simon Cowell by pointing out he’s “wearing the same clothes” as he was the last time they performed.
In her very first performance for “America’s Got Talent: The Champions”, Farmer performed a medley of Tina Turner hits, with Oscar taking the lead for “Nutbush City Limits” before they delivered a ventriloquism-fuelled duet on “Proud Mary”.
Other performers returning for “Champions” include Bianca Ryan — who won the very first “AGT” season when she was just 11 — and Susan Boyle, who became an international superstar following her discovery on “Britain’s Got Talent”.
