Michelle Pfeiffer is already an Instagram pro with just one post.
The iconic actress officially made her first post on the social media platform on Wednesday with a throwback to one of her legendary roles. Pfeiffer, 60, posted a clip from her time as Catwoman in 1992’s “Batman Returns”.

“MEOW Instagram,” she captioned the video. “I never really go back and look at my work because I’m so self-critical, but that really is a fun clip,” Pfeiffer told Vanity Fair.
It took her a long time to warm up to the idea of joining the masses on social media. “I’ve spent my whole life doing as little as possible and hiding out,” expressed Pfeiffer. “I’ve been really, honestly, anxious about entering into the world of social media, and just fearing I’ll say the wrong thing and somebody’s gonna get snarky on my feed.”
“I just started realizing that I tend to get very curious because so many of my friends have started to engage on Instagram and they seem to be having a lot of fun with it,” she elaborated. “I think that I realized that it’s actually a really good way to engage with people, and potentially with my fans.”
“I think the other thing is that I’m really sort of full-throttle back working now,” she noted, well aware of the impact social media has on the film industry. “I think it is also an opportunity to share what’s going on with me.”

Pfeiffer is still very much a newbie and is taking her time getting used to Instagram. “I’m just clicking around and seeing what’s out there; I’m still figuring out how to even just use the format,” she said. “A lot of times I’ll go along and I’ll take a picture of something and I’ll think, ‘Oh, that would actually be really cute on Instagram,’ and then I remember, ‘Oh, I don’t have an Instagram.'”
