Schumer was not about to let the post slide, responding in the comments, “Woof this is not good for our culture. I like how I look and don’t want to look like a carbon copy of this one type woman you feel is the best way to look.”
The 37-year-old was praised by fans and commenters on Instagram for the way she handled the situation.
One commenter said, “Thank you for standing up for the double standard so present in our culture right now.”

Love who you are and be your authentic self. So much love for the beautiful and talented @amyschumer – gorgeous on the inside and out.”
“This is what keeps me up at night,” another commenter admitted. “If my 11-year-old daughter will question her own natural beauty because photoshop is the norm.”
