*NSYNC’s Cover Of ‘Pokemon’ Rap Resurfaces, Thanks To Twitter

Do you remember that time *NSYNC tore through the “Pokemon” rap? Because these Twitter users sure do.

The internet has a magical gift for resurfacing old but hilarious content seemingly at random. Such is the case when blogger and podcaster Dinosaur Dracula reminded folks of *NSYNC’s cover of the “PokeRap” in 1999.

“Nothing says ‘1999’ quite like *NSYNC covering the PokeRap,” he captioned a 20-second clip from the original Kids WB network commercial.

Dracula’s tweet has been liked more than 24,000 times and retweeted more than 9,000 as of its publication two days ago.

The hilarious video features the entire *NSYNC gang — Justin Timberlake included — wearing more leather than there are cows on Earth. The cheesy ’90s backdrops and graphics are bountiful as the group spits sick Poke-bars.

*NSYNC recently received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Pokemon will hit the big screens in the animated movie “Detective Pikachu” starring Ryan Reynolds.
