CNN has noted that a different book did briefly take over the top spot on the 47th day, breaking the streak, but Becoming went on to reclaim the top spot.
Marie Kondō and Rachel Hollis both have books that have closely followed the former First Lady’s book.
When Becoming was first released in November, they sold over 1.4 million copies in the first week of sales.
Penguin Random House also has a deal to publish Barack Obama’s memoir, although no publication date has been released.
It is reported that they spent $65 million to acquire the rights to both of the Obama’s books.
