Matthew McConaughey needs a new bed after hurting himself in his old one. And get your mind out of the gutter, it isn’t like that.
In an interview with People, the former Sexiest Man Alive revealed that he felt like he had “been bucked from a bull in a rodeo” after sleeping on his mattress without the pillowtop.
While out promoting his new movie “Serenity” with Anne Hathaway, he said that he removed the top for two nights and then woke up in pain.
Although he isn’t sure if the pillowtop was helping his back or making it worse.
He added, “My lower back was so damn sore. So now my question is: Is that because my back is self-correcting because it was on a firm, firm, firm mattress? Or do I just need the pillowtop?”
McConaughey was in so much pain that he had to get physical therapy. “I’m like, what the hell? It’s the damnedest thing,” he said.
“Serenity” will be released in theatres on January 25. For now, you can watch the clip below:
