It may have taken two years but k-os is back with “Black on Blonde” – a double album that incorporates both Hip-Hop & Rock N’ Roll… something the Toronto-native “never considered.”

“I never thought about (a double album) but it’s actually a good way for a guy like me to do music,”; he tells ET Canada. “I’ve always been a closet Rock N’ Roll lover, Indie Rock lover… and now this record really allows me to go there!”

Surprisingly the singer got some help recording his new tracks from fellow Canuck, Hayden Christensen – who lent k-os his Hollywood mansion’s recording studio! Telling us, “We’re just two spontaneous guys that are into what we do… I feel very blessed to have a friend like that!”

And thankfully k-os isn’t worried how fans will react to his new sound: “There’s always going to be a question in your life whether you do what people want you to do, or be yourself, and I think it’s a risk to be yourself.”
