The Poodle had nothing to wag about on Wednesday’s episode of FOX’s “The Masked Singer”.
This week’s contestants included The Rabbit, The Alien, The Raven, The Poodle, and The Bee. This week’s judges were Joel McHale, Ken Jeong, Nicole Scherzinger, Jenny McCarthy, and Robin Thicke.
Half the fun of the show is deciphering the talent’s identity through their clue package videos. The Poodle shared some useful information on Wednesday’s episode. “I have to be flawless to do this role of the Poodle justice,” she said. “Tonight in my new persona, I’ll be soaring to new heights despite it being my biggest fear.”
Man’s best friend also implied she is a comedian, narrowing down the possibilities. The Poodle performed “Time After Time” by Cyndi Lauper, leading judge Scherzinger to determine, “It doesn’t sound like you’re a professional singer.”
The Poodle’s final hint was “I have been fired multiple times.” McCarthy thought it might be Kathy Griffin under the mask, while Joel McHale suggested it might be Omarosa Manigault Newman.
The Poodle was ultimately voted out of the show. McCarthy stuck with the Griffin guess, while McHale and Scherzinger guessed Jillian Michaels. Thicke said it might be Judge Judy and Jeong considered Melissa Rivers.
It was Margaret Cho! The comedian said, “Ken, I thought you would know.” A shocked Jeong replied, “You are the reason I’m a comedian.” The two are co-stars on “Dr. Ken”.
