Matthew McConaughey is showing off a lot more than he realized in his new film.

The actor appeared on Global’s “The Late Show” on Wednesday to talk about his new film “Serenity” and host Stephen Colbert brought up the fact that McConaughey is “buck naked in this movie.”

“That’s what I keep hearing,” McConaughey responded. “I’m going to the premiere tonight, and I’ve got to see if there’s a new edit or new cut of this film that I haven’t seen.”

He continued, “I know that I was topless, and I’ve got people coming up and going, ‘Oh my God, it’s great to see you full frontal.’ And I’m like, ‘What?'”

“Will that be the first time you find out whether you’re cut,” Colbert joked.

“Where do we go when we die?” McConaughey asked, to which Colbert responded, “Celebrity heaven. It’s like regular heaven but there’s gift baskets.”

Other big questions included “How do we know if we’ve made the right choices in life?” and “Do you think God cares who wins the Super Bowl?”
