“Lip Sync Battle” is paying tribute to the goddess Mariah Carey, and they got just the guys for the job.

Darren Criss and Jermaine Dupri face off in the new episode of the celebrity competition series, airing Thursday, Jan. 24, and they both go all the way to do Mariah proud.
In a preview of the episode, Criss puts on a wig and pink heels to perform Carey’s classic “Heartbreaker”.

For his performance, Dupri dons a suit for a super-swanky performance of the song “Shake it Off”.
And in a special surprise, Carey herself appears to comment on how the boys did.
“You forgot some of the words,” she tells Dupri, “but I’ve done that myself, so it’s okay.”
As a bonus for Carey fans, the trio (Criss, Dupri and Carey) perform a rendition of her classic “Emotions” together.
And in the epic finale, Carey threw confetti down on the screaming crowd below. Even hosts Chrissy Teigen and L.L. Cool J got into the act.
