Kanye West is being sued over an alleged fake company he set up to do with his Yeezy sneakers.

Japanese fabric supplier Toki Sen-I Co. is filing a lawsuit against both Yeezy Apparel, LLC and Kanye West personally.

According to The Blastthe singer turned fashion designer set up a fake company so he would not have to pay what was owed to the fabric company.

Toki Sen says they got into business with West shortly after 2015 where they provided samples for his upcoming Yeezy sneakers. Everything was fine that time around.

They claim that in June 2018 another unusually large order of fleece fabrics was made, so they went into production. Toki Sen asked for a down payment, but West did not pay citing their previous work history would be enough.

TMZ is reporting that the fabric company was then emailed saying they were not going through with the order, leaving them on the hook for the 53,500 yards of fleece.

Allegedly West never paid the $624,051 owed, and despite a number of payment plans the company presented him, he made no effort.

Toki Sen is looking for the full amount of the fabric owed, plus storage fees.

They are also claiming that Yeezy Apparel is a “sham” with no capital assets. They are under the belief that West uses the company so he will not be personally liable.

Another lawsuit filed against Yeezy Apparel in March 2018 lists West as the “sole “member and manager”” where Jordan Outdoor Enterprises is suing Yeezy for copyright infringement of their camouflage print.
