The cause of death of comedian Kevin Barnett has now been revealed.
E! News has reported that Barnett, 32, died of complications caused by pancreatitis while vacationing in Mexico.
The Chief of the Forensic Medical Service said Barnett’s body was received on Jan. 22 at 5:50 a.m and that “The corresponding autopsy was carried out, which determined that the cause of death was: Non-Traumatic Hemorrhage, caused by pancreatitis.”
The statement added that his family members are currently “performing the legal proceedings” to return his body to them.
Barnett co-hosted the “Roundtable of Gentlemen” from the Last Podcast Network and co-created “Rel” with Pete Davidson.
Last Podcast tweeted out the news of his death calling Barnett the “greatest gift we have ever received.”
“SNL” star Pete Davidson also expressed his sadness over losing his friend while doing a set at Caroline’s on Broadway in New York City.
“My head hurts,” Davidson said.
