Kristen Bell Thinks Her ‘Good Place’ Character Is ‘Kind Of Bi’

On Thursday, Conan O’Brien welcomed the cast of Global‘s “The Good Place” on his late-night talk show — which just happens to be the same night as the show’s third-season finale.

During the conversation with stars Kristen Bell, Ted Danson, D’Arcy Carden, Jameela Jamil, William Jackson Harper and Manny Jacinto, O’Brien pointed out that the show has inspired some erotic fan art, particularly focused on Eleanor (Bell) and Tahani (Jamil) getting it on.

“Fans are really pushing for this,” quipped O’Brien of the apparent fan desire for a “Teleanor” hookup. “Is that something that could ever happen on the show?”

According to Bell, don’t count it out.

“We’ve certainly alluded to it a lot of times, how attracted Eleanor is to Tahani, although I believe the consensus was, there’s not really a reason, it’s not a pivotal point in the story, to define either person’s sexuality,” she explained.

“It almost just seems indulgent and not necessary to go into it. Why do we have to define what Eleanor is attracted to? Maybe Eleanor is just attracted to who she’s attracted to. Tahani is gorgeous, so she keeps mentioning it,” continued Bell, 38.

“So yeah, Eleanor is kind of bi,” she added, “and it’s fine with me!”
