Zac Efron is America’s most notorious serial killer in “Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile”.
In the first look at the upcoming thriller, Efron plays a role world’s apart from his “High School Musical” days: Ted Bundy.

“Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile” is based on footage from Bundy’s trial but the storyline is told from Bundy’s longtime girlfriend Elizabeth Kloepfer’s (played by Lily Collins) perspective.
Kloepfer remained in denial of Bundy’s murders but she was the one to ultimately turn him in.

Jim Parsons, John Malkovich, Kaya Scodelario, Haley Joel Osment, Angela Sarafyan, Dylan Baker, Jeffrey Donovan, Terry Kinney, and Metallica frontman James Hetfield also star.
“Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile” will have its world premiere at Sundance Film Festival on Jan. 26.
