Ashton Kutcher’s long-awaited Netflix series, “The Ranch,” premiered on Friday with a major dose of Canadian-flavoured jokes.

With the first five minutes of the show welcoming back lead character Colt Bennett (Kutcher) from Saskatoon, jokes about Wayne Gretzky and Shania Twain peppered the dialog, and now, Kutcher is bringing his puns to Twitter.

Kutcher’s Bennett recalled sliding his “balls head first into Miss Shania” in an accident that ended with him showing the singer his “Twain.”

This afternoon, Kutcher took to Twitter apologizing for the fictional incident with a few more Canadian references.

“Apologies again, Miss @ShaniaTwain. I had no inhibitions, made no conditions and definitely got out of line. @TheRanchNetflix,” Kutcher tweeted, referencing Twain’s lyrics for “I Feel Like A Woman,” which also made it onto the show’s premiere episode.

Try the operator, maybe she’ll be free. @theranchnetflix,” she replied. “Note to self: Shania Twain… not easily impressed,” Kutcher noted.
