Dolly Parton and Katy Perry demonstrated how they’ve become the best of friends at the Academy of Country Music Awards.

The iconic country singer swooned over the pop star on the red carpet at the 51st ACMs. “She’s great. She does some great records,”; Parton tells ET Canada. “My nieces and nephews just love her, so they were more excited about me singing with Katy Perry than they were about me.”;
Parton and Perry sang a duet during the ACMs Sunday night.
The “Jolene”; singer gave some insight into their performance, saying, “It’s just going to be Katy and Dolly singing. We’re doing a medley of some of my songs, which she wanted to do. We’re actually starting with “Coat Of Many Colors’, which I’m winning the award for.”;
