The stunning Olivia Munn graces the cover of FASHION Magazine“s May 2016 issue, where the “X-Men”; actress discusses rumours of plastic surgery, the influence of her stern mother on her upbringing and the impact of social media on her acting career.
When it comes to Munn’s changing facial features, the actress denies any rumours of plastic surgery. She says, “That’s where it’s unfair: the judgment that is put on women for how we look. If you’re looking bad, you have to cover up. If you’re looking good, you’ve done something or made a deal with the devil.”;
Back in February, the 35-year-old actress took to Instagram to address fans who had been questioning her altered appearance. Munn attributed her changed facial features to losing weight, reshaping her eyebrows, fading her sunspots and eating Japanese potatoes rich in hyaluronic acid.

If one thing is for sure, Munn is not one to back down when it comes to confronting rumours head-on. The actress claims she gets her strong sense of will power from her “Tiger Mom”;. “My mother never coddled me,”; she explains. “She never really helped me. What I did learn from her was how to have a strong sense of self… she gave me the tools to figure out how to solve problems and fight my own battles.”;
Munn goes on to tell the magazine that while she thinks social media is an important tool for expression, a woman’s worth should be not based on her number of followers: “Social media is a real way for women to show our individuality and creativity, but your number of followers says nothing about your talent – this isn’t a popularity contest. When it comes to true art, you want to find somebody whose actual work you love. That should be enough.”
