Fetty Wap’s daughter is doing well after being rushed to the hospital for emergency brain surgery over the weekend.
According to TMZ, Fetty’s girlfriend Alexis Skyy, who he shares daughter Alaiya with, was on a flight from Atlanta to New York when Alaiya, 1, continuously vomited. Once the plane landed, Skyy brought Alaiya to the hospital when doctors discovered that the issue was rooted in a malfunctioning brain implant that helps to drain fluid and blood.

Following the surgery, Skyy took to Instagram to share an update, writing, “Surgery went well, thank you, God.”

Since her birth, Alaiya has had a number of health complications since being born 3-months premature. Alayia also suffers from a condition called hydrocephalus, a complication because of the nature of her birth, which creates bleeding in her brain and is the reason for the faulty implant.
Alaiya is expected to make a full recovery and is doing so with both parents by her side.
