C-3PO’s journey through the “Star Wars” saga has ended.

Actor Anthony Daniels, who has played the golden robot since the original “Star Wars” in 1977, tweeted out an emotional post announcing he has finished filming on “Episode IX”.

The film has previously been announced as the final instalment in the Skywalker saga, giving Daniels’ farewell tweet even more weight.

Fans responding, thanking Daniels for all his decades with the series.

“Star Wars: Episode IX” is scheduled to hit theatres Dec. 20, 2019.
