The 36-year-old actress opens up about her multiple wedding celebrations, which took place in India this past November.

“It was just three days,” she explains. “One Indian ceremony and one Western-Christian ceremony. And one day of pre-rituals which we have in the Hindu wedding.
“Usually Indian weddings are like 1,000 people at least. We had only 200, which was mostly family because both of us have giant families. We wanted to keep it super intimate, just family.”
“Two hundred people, super intimate,” DeGeneres quipped. “For an Indian family and an Indian wedding?!” Chopra exclaims, “For sure, that’s like less.”
The “Baywatch” star reveals that her mother was upset because she wasn’t able to invite everyone she knows. “She was like, ‘I need to have another party for the other 150,000 people that I know.'”
Chopra also chats about first meeting her new husband and how she didn’t know much about the Jonas Brothers or their music. However, the pair connected after Jonas slid into her Twitter DMs and basically asked for a date.
As well as finding him super hot, Chopra says she loves Jonas’s strong family values. “He hasn’t been corrupted… He’s so family driven, it’s all about his parents, and it’s just really nice and sweet.”
Elsewhere on the show, Chopra talks about her upcoming rom-com “Isn’t It Romantic,” and reveals she’s developing a feature film adaptation of the hit Netflix docuseries “Wild Wild Country,” about the controversial Indian guru Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh.
DeGeneres also surprises the actress with a late wedding gift – a massive framed photo of Chopra necking tequila shots on a previous episode of “Ellen” while her husband sits beside her.
