Rob Lowe isn’t afraid to voice his opinions via social media and Wednesday was no different, as he took a swipe at Santa Barbara City College amid the recent Pledge of Allegiance backlash.

The school has been hitting headlines after the Board of Trustees President Robert Miller decided to ban the use of the Pledge of Allegiance because of what he described as its “history steeped in expressions of nativism and white nationalism.”

Lowe wasn’t the only one talking about the school Wednesday morning, as former SBCC adjunct instructor Celeste Barber, who slammed the initial decision to ban the pledge, appeared on “Fox & Friends”.

She insisted she “has a right” to speak out on behalf of the people “who have sacrificed everything” for her country.
