An incredibly nostalgic lyric video for the late David Bowie’s “I Can’t Give Everything Away”; was released today.
The animated video features everything a generation of Bowie fans could ask for: iconic images of his music, a trippy kaleidoscope of colour and a retro theme! Perhaps the most befitting piece of art displayed is that of an astronaut, possibly a reference to his nickname and his 1972 hit song “Starman”;.
The video, created by artist Jonathan Barnbrook, is a thoughtful addition to Bowie’s legacy after the rock icon died on January 10, 2016 after a long battle with cancer.
His latest album, Blackstar, was released two days before his death and is said to be his “parting gift”; to the world.
