Kesha has lost her legal battle with Dr. Luke and Sony, with a New York state judge rendering a verdict that dismissed all her claims.
As TMZ reports, Kesha’s attorneys have been trying to get the judge to grant an emergency order that would allow her out of her contract with Sony and producer Dr. Luke, alleging that he raped her while Sony refused to allow her to work with any other producers.
Sony lawyers, however, have been pushing to have the whole case thrown out, which is precisely what just happened as the judge rejected Kesha’s claim that her deal was akin to “slavery.”; In his decision, the judge said that Kesha, by rejecting Sony’s subsequent offer to work with other producers, was “unreasonable.”;

Another claim made in Kesha’s suit is that her alleged rape by Dr. Luke was a hate crime, which the judge also dismissed by declaring that even if a rape did occur, there’s no evidence to support that it was a hate crime.
“Although [Luke’s] alleged actions were directed to Kesha, who is female, [her claims] do not allege that [Luke] harboured animus toward women or was motivated by gender animus when he allegedly behaved violently toward Kesha,”; reports TMZ, quoting from the decision.
